Products of AYZH

AYZH strategically selects and develops high quality, low-cost products that address two fundamental needs in rural women’s lives: Health and Livelihood. We take a tiered approach (pictured left) to first address women’s basic needs – get them and their families healthy so they have the time and strength to work. We then provide them with incomegenerating tools to help increase livelihood. With a healthier family and more lucrative opportunities, the women can attain a level of self sufficiency that translates into a more vibrant society. We are currently preparing to launch our first two health related products:

Sheba Water Filter: A household water filter to provide high quality drinking water at a low cost
Clean Delivery Birth Kit: A hygiene kit for rural midwives to deliver babies for post natal health

Two additional income-generating technologies are currently in development. With all products, we understand the need to compliment our efforts with education, and plan to partner with local organizations to provide capacity building training to the women in the communities we serve. Additionally, through our products, the women will become more respected – by their communities, their families, and themselves.
