Appropriate technology is needed to alleviate physical labor and improve the quality of life and economic power of rural women.

AYZH is a social venture looking through the eyes of women to identify the tools they want and need to help improve their standard of living. AYZH serves the needs of impoverished women worldwide by bringing them affordable appropriate technologies that increase income and/or improve health.

AYZH is committed to two core sectors that serve as the backbone of the economy in developing communities: Health and Livelihood.

AYZH, Inc. won first place at the Camino Real Venture Competition's (CRVC), in El Paso, TX and at the Global Social Venture Competition (GSVC), in India

GSVC winnings included an invitation to compete in the GSVC Global finals at Berkeley

CRVC winnings included $5,000 cash and about $35,000 in in-kind prizes
